Last Sept I started a little girl who was just 12 months old she had a sister who was 4 and a brother who was 7, they introduced the 4 yr old to me and decided to let me take and fetch her to and from school and have her in school hols but was goin to keep the lad at the school club. about 3 months ago she said she was not happy with the school club and he seemed upset when they picked him up so she gave him to me to (which i was really pleased about as hes a great kid) so now i have all of them and they cant believe the difference in him. Also I take and fetch a 5 yr old from school as they say its easier to use me as they they can just park on the drive and open the door and let her run in at the school one she has to park up and walk her in etc. I have her in the hols to. They also r happier as i do more with them to and feed them so although i charge more they get more for it. Dont know if this will help you or notxxxx

I have had the same two sisters for 4 yrs now school hols only. I also have alot of term time only children so suits me, i would still do even if didnt. I do before and after school for alot of older ones also, alot of childminders in my area dont want to bother they think its not worth it but seen as though i,m working already having a couple of older ones has always bumped my wage up by over 100 pw so worth it i think. I also cover for other childminders when they go on hols if i have the space. Take the work when its there i say as sometimes its not.
